Another Perfect Day

by Amy

This morning we took a train to Torcy and went to a French Congregation. We didn't understand anything but it was beautiful just the same.

Afterwards we went over to Megan's uncle's house. We had a five course french dinner. Everything was wonderful!

We came back to Paris around 6 and found a cute little resturant to eat. A little boy there was studying English in school so his dad made him sit with us so he could practice. It was so fun!

Then we headed to the Eiffel Tower so we could see it at night all lit up. It did not disappoint. Simply breathtaking.

Tomorrow we have to leave Paris at 6am for Amsterdam so we better get to bed. Bon nuit!

  1. How excitng to hear what you are doing as you are doing it! You know Gallagher Park is hosting the begining of a French congregation here and so we get to hear them sing in French a bit and see a bit of the French presentations. SOme of the brothers and sisters have met with us for phone witnessing and we get to hear the French presentations that way, too. It reminds me of Pentecost and the spreding of the good news in the different languages! Also, your apartment is soooooo coool!!! I am so happy for you guys to be able to do something like this and so excited to have you back home where you are at arms reach.

  2. Uncle Steve comments how pretty the three of you look in the picture in the French Hall. The table setting looks beautiful and quite formal. Have you girls gotten any more sleep lately?
Dad asks if there will be a trek up the tower Eiffel and will you be dressed as well as the three cool locking chicks in the picture? Grandma says bonjour!
